The purpose of this project was to transmit the water from Yaba, Hilli & Al Laith Dams to Shoaibah Plant. Water transmission system works include pipeline works such as trenching, bedding, steel pipe supply, laying, padding, backfilling, construction of valve chambers along with all civil and electro-mechanical works, supply and installation of markers and sign boards.

The sizes and quantities of steel pipeline are as follows:

• Diameter 1500mm (158,500 meters)
• Diameter 500 mm (40,600 meters)
• Fiber Optic Cable (516,100 meters)
• Line Valves: 31 Nos Diameter 1500 mm and 8 Nos Diameter 500 mm
